Nation’s Large-Scale Comprehensive Micro-Drama Production Base Breaks Ground in Beilun
Updated: 2025-07-18

Yesterday, the Beilun Bodi Micro-Drama Industrial Base commenced construction, marking the start of substantive development for this large-scale, integrated micro-drama filming hub.

Centered around a 20,000-square-meter high-quality practical set, the base synergizes with Bodi Yingshow City’s 450,000-square-meter commercial complex, 210-acre professional film studios, and Ningbo’s citywide outdoor filming resources. It establishes a full industrial chain ecosystem spanning “investment, creation, filming, editing, regulatory filing, and distribution,” positioning itself as a new national benchmark for the micro-drama industry. Through resource integration and service upgrades, the base aims to meet diverse industry demands.

At the groundbreaking ceremony, He Yingchun, Vice President of Bodi Holdings Group, highlighted the booming micro-drama market and strong support from municipal/district governments for premium content. With an investment exceeding ¥20 million, the group is building a high-end filming platform that leverages Yingshow City’s 400,000+ square meters of commercial resources to offer “time-saving, hassle-free, cost-effective” one-stop services. The initiative seeks deeper collaboration with domestic and international micro-drama producers to drive industry advancement.

Breaking from traditional filming bases that compete on price or set quantity, the pioneering “practical sets + industry fund + policy support” tripartite model enables both horizontal/vertical high-end filming. It accommodates modern, period, and international-themed micro-dramas, providing tailored creative environments to elevate production standards.

Embracing open collaboration, the base will partner with global premium projects, offering cutting-edge filming facilities, end-to-end services, and access to industry resources/distribution channels to streamline high-quality content creation.

With construction underway, Beilun is fast emerging as a national micro-drama hub, poised to attract top-tier talent and capital, propelling China’s micro-drama industry to new heights. (Reporters: Zou Shiqi, Lin Siyu; Correspondent: Liang Linbin)
