Recently, Chunxiao Sub-Street, in line with the construction of a modern beautiful town, has created a tangible “most beautiful way to school” for the six schools under its jurisdiction from the perspective of children’s height, perspective and psychological feelings.

In the past, foe the six schools under the jurisdiction of Chunxiao, it was inconvenient for parents to pick up and drop off their children. During school arrival and dismissal times, parents jam at the school gate, and a large number of electric vehicles are parked on the school road section, so the traffic is not smooth, which has certain potential safety hazards.

Therefore, Chunxiao Sub-Street, with the design concept of “vigor, safety, interest and order”, promotes the construction of “the most beautiful way to school” and widens the walking space. The school with space conditions also adds a student wind and rain gallery frame, non-motor vehicle canopy, popular science wall, parents waiting seats and so on, which are connected to the original child pick-up area, providing abundant interactive entertainment and rest and exchange space for parents and children. The overall design color is integrated with the main architectural style of the school, and they complement each other.

Chunxiao Sub-Street also join hand with communities and schools, and makes full use of the corner space around the campus to promote a number of child-friendly transformations, embellish the children’s school road section with sea waves, bubbles and other elements, paint the zebra crossing, walls, ground, water tank, tree pool grate, etc., insert 24 solar terms illustrations on the pavement markings, print child-friendly signs on the intersection ground. These measures add interest to the school commute and meet the multiple needs of surrounding children for safe commuting, exploratory learning, and interactive communication.

Now, with the completion of the reconstruction of “the most beautiful way to school”, the public environment of the surrounding road section has also been improved, earning praise from teachers and parents.

In recent years, our district has carried out the transformation project of “the most beautiful way to school” in an overall plan, formulated the “one school one plan”, combined the infrastructure transformation with the campus theme culture display, and effectively activated the limited municipal space according to local conditions. Since 2024, relying on urban renewal, our district has completed the construction of “the most beautiful way to school” for nearly 20 schools.
