Recently, the Bureau of Commerce of the Development Zone received a letter of thanks from the Australian Consulate General in Shanghai, expressing gratitude for the strong support and cooperation provided for the “Vibrant Ningbo—Australian-Ningbo Imported Products Promotion and Matchmaking Conference,” which contributed to its successful completion. The letter also expressed hope for further strengthening of economic and trade exchanges and cooperation, advancing friendly relations.
It is reported that Australia is one of the most important economic and trade partners of Beilun, with a long history of cooperation and frequent exchanges. Last month, the “Vibrant Ningbo—Australian-Ningbo Imported Products Promotion and Matchmaking Conference” was held in Beilun, where 39 Australian enterprises and 43 Australian food consumer brands were featured. They engaged directly with key buyers and distributors in Beilun’s rapidly growing food and consumer goods sectors, generating enthusiastic responses.
The conference is a successful example of China-Australia trade cooperation. Through the platform of this promotion conference, China and Australia have made in-depth exchanges, consultation and cooperation, bringing more high-quality Australian products to the Chinese market, allowing Beilun consumers to enjoy a wider array of delicious foods, selected products, and premium services from the Southern Hemisphere.
After the conference, China-Australia cooperation has achieved fruitful results. For instance, Queensland Food Corporation, an Australian high-quality food enterprise, has entered into a tentative cooperation with Ningbo Meishan Cold Chain Co., Ltd. and China-Base Commercial and Trade (Zhejiang) Co., Ltd., and Ningbo Enterprise Master International Trade Co., Ltd. has entered into a cooperative relationship with Bulla, an Australian family dairy company with a century-old history. The delicious food, selected products and high-quality services from the southern hemisphere will continue to enter the Chinese market. (Reporters: Zheng Kanxuan, Mao Chenyan)
