On the morning of August 20, 2024, Zhejiang Provincial Youth Softball Tournament started in Beilun. More than 400 athletes from all over the province participated in the competition.

Hosted by the Provincial Sports Bureau, the tournament was implemented by the Provincial Baseball and Softball Association and organized by the Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports Bureau of Beilun District and Zhejiang Baitai Sports and Culture Development Co., Ltd. The tournament consists of four groups: U8 tee-ball, U10 tee-ball, U12 tee-ball and U18 softball. The competition will last for five days, and the champions of each group will emerge on August 24. The competition will be held in Beilun Youth Sports Park, the second phase of Beilun Sports Training Base and the East Stadium of Ningbo Polytechnic.

In this tournament, the players fought hard and won applause and cheers from the audience for every accurate hit, clever defense and quick running, showing a high level of competition and good sportsmanship. 

It is worth mentioning that in this tournament, the Binhai International Cooperative School of Beilun District, a national tee-ball school, sent 20 athletes to participate in the U8 tee-ball group. (Reporter Fan Xiaolei and correspondent Li Huanteng)
