March 29th marked the grand opening of the inaugural Freshippo store in Beilun, offering a plethora of shopping choices for nearby residents. This establishment also stands as one of the pioneering businesses to launch at the Youth Sports Center.
At 10 a.m. that morning, a bustling crowd of locals rushed to the newly inaugurated Freshippo store in Beilun, brimming with anticipation to explore and shop. “Freshippo has finally arrived in our neighborhood. I’ve been eagerly following its progress since the renovations began. Today, on its opening day, I made a special trip to shop. I purchased some seafood and beef to prepare a lavish meal at home. From now on, all our daily essentials will be conveniently available here!” Mrs. Xu, a resident of a nearby community close to the Youth Sports Center in Beilun, joyfully exclaimed as she navigated her overflowing shopping cart.
It is understood that as one of the flagship stores of the Youth Sports Center project, Freshippo is located on the first floor of the Youth Sports Center, covering an area of over 3,000 square meters. The store encompasses all categories currently operated by Freshippo stores, including bakery, seafood, refrigerated and frozen foods, ready-to-eat meals, snacks, and fresh meat counters.
In addition, leveraging Freshippo’s supply chain system, the Beilun Freshippo store ensures the basic variety and quality of goods while also introducing a new “cross-border shopping” area of over 200 square meters. This marks the first appearance of “cross-border shopping” products in offline Freshippo stores in Ningbo, providing customers with affordable prices and a new shopping experience. Currently, “cross-border shopping” products are also available for purchase online through the mini-program.
Apart from Freshippo, the Youth Sports Center has welcomed several renowned dining brands including Domino’s Pizza and Subway, along with over 10 sports brands. The grand opening of the entire center is slated for May. Additionally, the rooftop of the Youth Sports Center features diverse outdoor courts suitable for hosting events like stargazing concerts and youth gatherings.
