Recently, at the construction site of the high-end equipment core parts production project with an annual output of 20,000 tons of Ningbo Xinwei Transportation Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd., the large-scale mechanical equipment operates efficiently, with the pile driver installing the enclosure steel sheet piles, the construction personnel full of energy, and the scene is bustling with activity.

Ningbo Xinwei Transportation Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd. has an annual output of 20,000 tons of high-end equipment core parts production project, which is a key link in the industrial chain of Beilun high-end equipment manufacturing industry. The project was officially started in August this year with a total investment of 300 million yuan, covering an area of 46.8 mu and a total construction area of about 20,000 square meters, involving three single buildings, namely, heavy-duty plant, office building and warehouse.

"At present, the factory building is in the foundation construction stage, 50% of the foundation project has been completed, the equipment foundation and warehouse are under synchronous construction. The reinforced concrete structure of the second floor of the office building has been completed, and the structure of the third floor is under construction." Xiong Jianfang, the project manager, introduced that the Project Department would increase personnel, working overtime to grasp the construction progress and complete the target tasks with quality and quantity guaranteed.

As a high-end equipment core component production project, it has higher requirements on equipment technology of the plant, i. e. production line layout, which greatly increases the construction difficulty.

“After the whole plant is completed, some heavy equipment will be placed. Therefore, the overall layout and installation of equipment in the plant in the future shall be considered in advance. We have learned about a large number of assembly technology and process requirements of single mechanical equipment in advance, and we will design and layout the production line before head according to the equipment process requirements." Xiong Jianfang said.

It is understood that the production project of high-end equipment core parts with annual output of 20,000 tons of Ningbo Xinwei Transportation Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd. is expected to be completed and put into use in the first half of 2026. After the project is completed and put into production, it mainly produces core parts of large-scale mechanical equipment such as various injection molding machines, numerical control machine tools, die-casting machines, etc., and establishes close ties with the upstream and downstream enterprises of Beilun equipment manufacturing, adding vitality to the development of Beilun high-end equipment industry.
