Recently, as the Zhongzhai Ore Terminal in Chuanshan Port Area of Ningbo Zhoushan Port successfully completed the 47th batch of fine blending operations, the ore company's fine blending output reached 10.0272 million tons, exceeding the 10 million tons mark for the first time. This milestone achievement marks that the three-fine system of "high-quality mines, high-quality routes and high-quality services" created by the terminal has fully matured, injecting new kinetic energy into regional economic development.

In traditional steel production, there have always been pain points such as high cost and low efficiency in the raw material mixing process. Zhongzhai Ore Terminal innovatively advances the ore blending link to the port. Through the intelligent ore blending system, it provides customers with customized refined ore blending products that can be directly used in the sintering process, which greatly reduces the raw material cost of steel mills and improves production efficiency by 50%, achieving mutual benefit and win-win results between ports and steel mills.

"From 0 to 10 million tons, we have overcome multiple challenges such as conflicts in operation processes and tight site storage." Lin Minmin, head of production of Zhongzhai Operation Division of Beilun Ore Terminal Branch of Ningbo Zhoushan Port Co., Ltd., said, "Through independent innovation of key equipment, application of AI quality inspection system, and collaborative mode of 'four-party co-construction 'supply chain, dynamic management and efficient shipment of fine mixed ore quality have been realized. It is estimated that this year's output will reach 12 million tons."

It is understood that Zhongzhai Ore Terminal, as an important iron ore transfer terminal in Ningbo Zhoushan Port, relies on advanced automated production technology and efficient logistics management system to quickly release fine blended ore production capacity. Since the terminal's refined ore mixing project was put into operation in June last year, it has achieved an output breakthrough of 10 million tons in just one year, which not only demonstrates the terminal's excellent operational capabilities, but also provides stable and high-quality raw material guarantee for downstream steel, building materials and other industries.
