Recently, the reporter learned from the Beilun District Bureau of Statistics that Beilun’s gross domestic product (GDP) totaled 74.08 billion yuan in Q1, up 7.1% year on year.
By industry, in the first quarter, the added value of the primary industry was 137 million yuan, up 3.5% year on year; the added value of the secondary industry was 31.066 billion yuan, up 8.2% year on year; the added value of the tertiary industry was 42.881 billion yuan, up 6.2% year on year.
Industrial output continued to improve. In the first quarter, the total output value of the industrial enterprises above the designated level was 135.175 billion yuan, up 4.4% year on year. The value-added growth of five emerging industries, including equipment manufacturing industry, high-tech industry and high and new technology industry, is higher than the industrial value-added of the whole district, which strongly supports the quality improvement and efficiency enhancement of the entire district’s industry.
The service industry is running smoothly. In the first quarter, the added value of service industry reached 42.881 billion yuan, up 6.2% year on year, and the contribution rate to GDP growth was 49.4%.
The foreign trade situation is generally stable. In the first quarter, the total import and export volume of the whole region was 119.926 billion yuan, up 4.7% year on year. Among them, the export was 56.52 billion yuan and the import was 63.406 billion yuan.
Investment in fixed assets grew steadily. In the first quarter, the fixed asset investment of the whole region increased by 22.6% year on year. Among them, infrastructure investment increased by 45.4% year on year, private investment increased by 29.1% year on year, and the operating rate of new projects in 11 “Trillion RMB Investment on a Thousand Projects” reached 100%.
Consumption potential continues to be unleashed. In the first quarter, the total retail sales of consumer goods in Beilun was 12.402 billion yuan, up 1.8% year on year. (Reporter Mao Feiying, correspondent Su Xiaoyu)
