Xiaci Rice Cake Intangible Cultural Heritage Memory Museum is a landmark on the up of Internet of Xiayang Village, which records the history of Xiayang Xiaci Rice Cake. According to the local historical records, Xiaci Rice Cake started in Chenghua Period of Ming Dynasty. Its taste is soft, toughness, smooth, and glutinous, with pleasant smell and tasting refreshing, which is loved deeply by the common people. Since 2015, the industry of rice cake has been focused on by Xiayang Village, digging the connotation and innovating and expanding its capacity constantly. Now, the Rice Cake Festival, a “golden business card”, is well known, and the annual order volume of the three enterprises in the village is nearly 10 million.

“The memory museum is expected to be built into a cultural and tourist attractions by us, which integrates traditional culture and interactive experience, and at the same time, the experience of research and learn can be promoted and the brand of our rice cake shall be launched.” said by Cao Jianbo, the party branch secretary of Xiaci society in Xiayang village at present, the second and third floors of the Memory Museum are under planning, and more cultural tourism projects will be developed in the future.

Standing on the dam and looking southward, Meishan Waterway coming into view looks like a blue ribbon.

In addition to good mountains, good water and good scenery, in recent years, villagers activity room, love canteen, three-star home care center and other livelihood projects have been put into use, villagers say that the village is more and more beautiful and life is more and more happy.
