Recently, Ningbo Donghai Experimental School Lunan Campus Project started construction officially.
The project is located in the plot to the south of Lushan West Road, Daqi Street and to the west of Dapuhe North Road, with a total land area of about 89.7 mu. It is expected that, the educational resources of Lunan District will be further optimized, and the value of the sector of the district will be further improved after the overall completion of the project in June 2026.
Reporters in Ningbo Donghai Experimental School Lunan campus project construction site see that the land surface is being cleared and the construction is being leveled by a number of excavators. There is large-scale mechanical equipment entering the site one after another. At present, the project is in the stage of pile foundation construction, which is expected to be completed in two and a half months.
In this project, a kindergarten with 15 classes is proposed to be built, and also a school with 54 classes and a consistent system of nine years, and 9 classes are reserved for expansion. The total construction area of the project is about 81,900 square meters.
It is reported that Ningbo Donghai Experimental School Lunan Campus will implement education collectivization with Ningbo Donghai Experimental School after the completion of the project, and Ningbo Donghai Experimental School will realize co-construction and sharing with the new school in multiple dimensions such as teachers, management, ideas, culture, etc., and the high-quality educational resources will be further split, by which the high-quality balanced development of the regional compulsory education will be accelerated.
With the construction of Donghai Experimental School Lunan Campus, the distribution of educational supporting facilities in Lunan District belonging to the school is increasingly perfect, and the supporting works such as optimizing traffic network, improving human settlement environment and reforming surrounding environment are also in progress simultaneously. According to the school construction schedule, the school supporting roads such as Maoyangshan Road and Guihuayi Road have been implemented synchronously, and then new construction, expansion, beautification and other works will be carried out according to the specific traffic conditions; the three residential plots to the east of the school plot have been sold in April, and the total building area is estimated to reach 200,000 square meters after completion; the demolition of supporting commercial and residential buildings to the west side of the project has been completed basically, and the urban renewal work is under implementation.
