A few days ago, China Sailing Association announced the best competition area and excellent competition area in the annual summary meeting of Chinese Family Sailing Race in 2024, and Ningbo Meishan Bay competition area was awarded the best competition area.

The Ningbo Meishan Bay Race of 2024 China Family Sailing Race was held in Beilun Meishan Bay from June 8 to 9. The competition attracted 40 families and 104 competitors, ranging in age from eight-year-old children to old men, with both competitive and family vacation and leisure features.

Thanks to its unique water resources, policy support and mature experience in organizing races, Meishan Bay has been qualified to host Chinese Family Sailing Race for six consecutive years, which has greatly promoted the popularization of sailing events.

Launched by China Yachting and Sailing Association in 2018, China Family Sailing Race is a large-scale mass sailing event aimed at tens of millions of families and spreading marine culture and family sailing fun, and has held 70 competitions in 26 cities in total. (Reporter Fan Xiaolei)
