On October 9, a group of customers from far away visited the Beilun Industrial Consumer Goods Exhibition Center Six international seafarers from India, accompanied by Luo Chao, an immigration management policeman at Ningbo Entry-Exit Border Checkpoint, came to shop at the offline shopping experience center.

As soon as they walked into the clothing shopping area of the hall, the seafarers were satisfied with the clothes’ quality and price and kept trying in front of the mirror. "I bought this jacket and it's a perfect size and quality, and I feel great for it." Captain Santosh said after trying.

Except buying for themselves, the seafarers did not forget to bring gifts back for their families. Santosh bought two toys for his two daughters. International seafarer Soudiput decided quickly to buy one scooter for his seven-year-old son after trying. He said: "The scooter’s quality is very good. I believe my son will be very happy when he gets the gift."

Luo Chao told reporters that the international seafarers had been sailing at sea for a long time and were curious about the foreign life on the shore. During the berthing period, they have a strong demand for goods with high quality and a reasonable price. Furthermore, Beilun is an important port city and manufacturing base in China and has a large number of consumption goods manufacturers, providing articles from household items to electronic products, fashion clothing, and food specialties. Ningbo City Border Checkpoint actively responds to the demands of international seafarers, providing them with one-stop service, and issuing temporary entry permits efficiently to create a more convenient environment for their landing.
