From November 20th to 21st, the evaluation expert group of national grass-roots traditional Chinese medicine demonstration area carried out on-the-spot evaluation on the establishment of Beilun traditional Chinese medicine demonstration area. The paticipants included Ying Liming, deputy director of Ningbo Municipal Hygiene and Health Commission, Zhang Haihang, deputy governor of Beilun District, etc.

At the meeting, the situation of Beilun District in establishing the national grass-roots traditional Chinese medicine work demonstration zone was reported.

After the meeting, the expert group conducted comprehensive and detailed review on the situation of Beilun District’s construction of national grass-roots traditional Chinese medicine work demonstration zone through the ways such as listening to reports, centralized consultation, and so on. They also conducted spot check and visit to 7 medical institutions, as well as on-site inspection and review on the allocation of departments, talent construction, publicity and education, traditional Chinese medicine service and other conditions of each institution.

At the feedback meeting, the expert group gave full recognition to the relevant work, who also put forward the rectification suggestions for the existing problems. According to the suggestions of the expert group, Beilun District should continue to strengthen the support for the work of traditional Chinese medicine, introduce high-level Chinese medicine talents, enhance the capacity construction of grass-roots traditional Chinese medicine service, drive the inheritance and innovation of traditional Chinese medicine industry, and promote the high-quality development of the cause of traditional Chinese medicine in Beilun District.

“This review is a pulse consultation for the Chinese medicine work in Beilun District, which is also a promotion in addition to encouragement”.
