On October 4, Ningbo Shihua Crude Oil Terminal in Daxie Port Area of Zhoushan Port, Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, China, presented a busy scene. Under the supervision of the police on duty at Daxie Border Inspection Organ of Ningbo Entry-Exit Border Inspection Station, the Korean super-large oil tanker “Huanyu Shengli” was carrying out the loading and unloading operation of 170,000 tons of crude oil in an orderly manner. According to statistics, since January 2023, the crude oil loading and unloading capacity of Ningbo Shihua Crude Oil Terminal has exceeded 17 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 10.3%.

During the Mid-Autumn Festival and the National Day, the police of Daxie Border Inspection Organ stayed at the front line of the port area terminal, adhered to the 24-hour duty mode, provided 24-hour entry-exit border inspection procedures, actively guaranteed the efficient and convenient entry and exit of ships and crew on international voyages, and fully maintained the security and stability of national ports. Meanwhile, considering the features of super-large oil tankers, electronic inspection and manual inspection were combined to strengthen the monitoring and management of ships during their stay at the port, thus making crude oil loading and unloading operations safe and smooth.
