Visit Disabled College Students and Help them Achieve Dreams of Employment
Updated: 2022-06-22

In order to deeply understand the employment situation of fresh college graduates with disabilities in 2022, Chen Bihua, a member of the Party and vice-chairman of Beilun District Disabled Persons' Federation, along with relevant Sub-district staff, visited Xinqi Sub-district and Chunxiao Sub-district a few days ago.

In each household, the group asked detailed family situation of the disabled graduate, and inquired about employment destinations and existing difficulties. A graduate surnamed Gu of Xinqi Sub-district finished her study in Nanjing University of the Arts this year and has been recommended by her tutor to continue further studies. The leader of the Federation congratulated her and wished her brilliant achievements in painting art in the future. Another graduate surnamed Yao from Chunxiao Sub-district, is looking for a job, with rich internship experience in finance, personnel affairs, and clerical affairs after obtaining the master degree of Zhejiang Ocean University this year. In Yao’s family, the leader of the Federation contacted enterprises in Beilun District for Yao’s employment recommendation. It is reported that there are three fresh graduates with disabilities in Beilun District this year. In addition to Gu and Yao, another undergraduate is working in a logistics enterprise on probation and will become a regular employee soon.

This visit not only let the disable graduates feel the love and warmth from the Party and the government, but also shortened the distance between Beilun District Disabled Persons' Federation and them. In the next step, the Federation will continue to fully track their employment and provide effective employment services to guide them to establish a clear career plan for targeted employment and a better tomorrow.
