The cross-border RMB settlement volume of Daxie Development Zone reached 5 billion Yuan in 2021 with a new breakthrough. According to incomplete statistics, 5 enterprises, such as Oriental Energy, Wanhua Energy Trade, Hanwha Chemical, Soken Chemical and Wanhua Chemical, used 5.51 billion Yuan for cross-border settlement in the whole year, including 3.485 billion Yuan that has been received or paid, and 2.025 billion Yuan that has been paid in the first half of 2022.

It is reported that with the accelerating pace of RMB internationalization, the cross-border RMB business will strongly support the development of Daxie oil and gas industry chain and bulk commodity enterprises in the future, which will realize a higher level of investment facilitation and trade liberalization, and meet the demands of RMB settlement of enterprises in the pilot free trade zone.
