It is understood that the love canteen of Meixi village has carried out the service of love meal delivery for 10 years. It has never closed for 10 years in spite of rain or wind. Especially during the typhoon, the party members and volunteers in Meixi village made careful preparations, hoping that the elderly would be satisfied with their food. During meal delivery, Party members and volunteers also inspected houses and investigated potential safety hazards for the elderly.

Lin Biyan, director of the Party and Mass Service Center of Meishan Village, said: "during the typhoon, we purchased a batch of food ingredients in advance to ensure there are sufficient meals for the elderly. At present, there are more than 80 elderly people eating the food delivered from our love canteen.
