Yesterday afternoon, the investment and financing matchmaking meeting of Zhejiang characteristic town (biomedical session) was held in Meishan Ocean Finance Town.

This investment and financing matchmaking meeting was sponsored by Zhejiang Development and Reform Commission, Provincial Department of Finance and Provincial Local Financial Supervision Bureau, co-organized by Zhejiang Provincial Financial Holdings Co., Ltd. and Zhejiang Private Equity Association, and hosted by Meishan Ocean Financial Town, which is designed to build a communication and cooperation platform for project parties and funders, broaden the docking channels, promote the deep docking between biomedical projects and social capital, and continuously enhance the ability of characteristic towns to gather capital, serve the real economy, innovate and start a business.

A total of 7 biomedical and medical device projects participated in the docking, involving the construction of the international advanced comprehensive innovative drug and accompanying diagnosis research technology platform, the research and development of series products of the international advanced “MRgFUS” diagnosis and treatment integration, and the exploration of the new mechanism and visualization method of artificial intelligence pathological diagnosis integrating expert gaze mode, all of which have good investment prospects.

At the meeting, project parties introduced their respective project background, development plan, market scale, income ability and financing needs in detail. Many investment institutions commented and asked questions about projects they intended to invest in. The investment and financing parties were warmly interactive on site.

Meishan Ocean Finance Town is located in the sea garden city of Meishan Bay New City, with a total planning area of 3.28 square kilometers. Since the establishment of the provincial-level characteristic town, relying on the advantages of natural endowment, industrial base and functional policies, it has promoted the integration of finance, biomedicine and cultural creativity, and made every effort to build the core functional block for the leading development of Meishan Bay New City, the innovation platform, science and innovation transformation base with strong capital agglomeration and industrial service capacity in Ningbo, and the financial center and cultural creativity center of Zhejiang Free Trade Zone.

At present, Meishan Ocean Financial Town is actively building a Version 2.0 of characteristic town by building an integrated development platform of “finance + technology + industry”, “conquering difficulties and reducing prices” for quality projects financing with practical actions, and “improving quality and accelerating” for industrial innovation and development, so as to realize the efficient docking of project resources and financial resources, and bring more opportunities for the innovation and development of capital markets and financial institutions.
