Beilun Forest Botanical Garden

Beilun Forest Botanical Garden, located in the section of Xinlu Village and Gongtong Village, Daqi Street, Dahaixian, Beilun, covers a total area of 10,030 mu (1 mu = 666.6666667 m2). The core region has an area of 2,500 mu (1 mu = 666.6666667 m2). Provincial native forest plants play a dominant role in the Garden, supplemented by Central Asian tropical forest plants in Eastern China. Region-specific plant germplasm resources for landscaping, with commercial economical efficiency, for medical care and of rare or endangered species are mainly collected and preserved.
Woodland walks extending for nearly 10 km are provided in the Garden. There are nine Taibai slopes, namely Chayuan Slope, Cuizhu Slope, Xiangshui Slope, Cishan Slope, Longyan Slope, Longlin Slope, Jianzhu Slope, Conglin Slope and Guangming Slope. With trees making a pleasant shade, birds' twitter and fragrance of flowers as well as water flowing beneath a small bridge, it is an ideal place for leisure and fitness.
