2、 Accepting office
Those residing in the districts of Haishu, Jiangdong,and Jiangbei may directly apply to Entry&Exit Division of Ningbo Municipal Bureau of Public Security. Those residing in other counties or districts may first apply to the local bureau of public secerity and then to Entry&Exit Division of Ningbo Municipal Bureau of Public Security.
3、 Documents presented for the first application(applicants should come in person for the first time)
(1) Submit completely filled in Application form by ink pen for Visas or Residents Permits for aliens together with one2-inch photograph recently thken full-face without headgear;
(2) Submit photocopies of the pages of personal information,the latest entry visa and the last entry check seal in valid passport(original passport needs to be checked);
(3) Submit temporary residence registration certificatd by the local police station or hotels;
(4) Submit official application from the work-unit;
(5) Submit health certificate issued by the Municipal Bureau of Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Department(applicants under the full age of 18 years are exempt);
(6) Submit photocopies of Duplicate Business Operation Certificate, Approval Certificate and Organization Code Certificate,Approval Certificate and Organization Code Certificate(needs by the first application afer 20,Dec,2004)(original certificates need to be checked);photocopy of registration certificate else for those working in foreign representative officers(original certificate needs to be checked); those eng aged in commercial art performances should submit the approval by the Ministry of Culture of The Provincial Culture Bureau;
(7) Submit photocopies of Employment Certificate(issued by the Municipal Bureau of Labor) or Foreign Experts Cards(issued by the Experts Bureau and presented by foreign teachers in different schools)(original certificates need to be checked);photocopy of Working Card else for those working in foreign representative officers(original one need to be checked); exempted for accompanying amilies and children;
(8) Other relevant documents required by Entry&Exit Dovision OF Ningbo Municipal Bureau of Public Security.
The above personnel’s accompanying families should,apart from submitting their own valid passports and visas(including photocopies of the pages of personal information,the latest entry visa and the last entey check seal), also submit certifications for family reationship and corresponding information(original certificates need to be checked).
4、 Documents presented to extend(the applicants could entrust others with the applications,but please present the trust deed and the entrusted one’s ID card):
All the documents have to be presented with the exemotion of Certificate of Health Examination and Temporary Registration Certificate(If Address is not changed)by the local police station and hotels.
RESIDENTS PERMITS FOR ALIENS(FOR STUDENTS)
1、 Applicants
International students studying Chinese language and degrees in various kinds of schools that have employment qualifications in Ningbo
2、 Accepting Office
Those resding in the disteicts of Haishu, Jiangdong , and Jiangbei may directly apply to Entey&Exit Division of Ningbo Municipal Bureau of Public Security. Those residing in other counties or districts may first apply to the local bureau of public security and then to Entry&Exit Division of Ningbo Municipal Bureau of Public Secrity.

(3) Submit a temporary tesidence registration certificate by the local police station or hotels;
(4) Submit official application letter from the school,Application Form for Visas to China by Foreign Students(Jw 201 or JW202) and the notice of admission by the school;
(5) Submit health certificate issude by the Municipal Bureau of Entruy-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Department (applicants under the full age of 18years are exempt);
(6) Other relevant documents required by Entry&Exit Division of Ningbo Municipal Bureau of Public Security.

Aliens who are on a short-time visit, business and exchange of science,technology and culture in Ningbo.

3、 Documents presented for application(the applicants could entrust others with the applications,but please present the trust deed and the entrusted one’s ID card):
(1) Submit completely filled in Application form for Visa or Residents Permits for aliens together with one 2-inch photograph recently taken full-face without headgear;

Foreign spouses,parents and children under the full age of 18years visit Chinese citizens and aliens in China with Permanent Resident Permit.

Applicants may first apply to Entry&Exit Division of the local Bureau of Public Security and then to Entry&Exit Division of Ningbo Municipal Bureau of Public Security. Applicants may also apply directly to Entry&Exit Division of Ningbo Municipal Bureau of Public Security.
3、 Documents presented for application(the applicants could entrust others with the applications, but please present the trust deed and the entrusted one’s ID card):
(1) Submit completely filled in Application form for Visas or Residents Permits for aliens together with one 2-inch photograph recently taken full-face without headgear;
(2) Submit photocopies of the pages of personal information,the latest entry visa and the last entey check seal in calid passport(original Passport needs to be checked);
(3) Submit a temporary residence registration certificate by the local police station or hotels;
(4) Foreign spouses should submit certificate of marriage;
(5) Foreign parents and children should submit certification for family relationship;
(6) In visiting residents in China inland, you should submit the certificate for local permanent household register of the relatives or relevant cetification for the actual places of their stay and their residents’ID cards;
(7) In visiting overeas Chinese or residents from Hong Kong, Macao or Taiwan,you should submit their ID cards and certification for the stay in Ningbo over 6 months;
(8) In visiting aliens in China with Permanent Resident Permit, you should submit the Permanent Resident Permit for aliens of the relatives;
(9) Other relevant documents required by Entry&Exit Division of Ningbo Municipal Bureau of Public Security.

Applicants may first apply to Entry &Exit Division of the local Bureau of Oublic Security and then to Entry&Exit Division of Ningbo Municipal Bureau of Public Security.Applicants may also apply directly to Entey&Exit Division of Ningbo Municipal Bureau of Public Security.
4、 Documents presented for application (the applicants could entrust others with the applications,but please present the trust deed and the entrusted one’s ID card):
(1) Submit completely filled in Application form for Visas or Residents Permits for aliens together with one 2-inch photograph recently taken full-face without headgear;
(2) Submit photocopies of the oages of personal information, the latest entry visa and the last entry check seal in valid passport(original passport needs to be checked);
(3) Submit a temporary residence registration certificate by the local police station or hotels;
(4) Submit birth certificate of the applicant, photocopies of passports of foreign parents,if one of the parents is Chinese, he/she shoule submit certification of permanents residence overseas;
(5) Submit letter of authorization by the applicant’s parents stating the fosterer of guardian entrusted and the period of foster;
(6) Submit the identification card of the fosterer of guardian;
(7) Submit the notarized guarantee of foster of children;
(8) Other relevant documents required by Entry&Exit Division of Ningbo Municipal Bureau of Public Secerity.
